Introducing Gastro Comfort
I've been waiting for quite a while for this product to hit "the store shelves" and it's finally available for purchase! Gastro Comfort is a new addition to PetTest products and what a terrific addition it is, many of us have pets with gastrointestinal issues and the ingredients are so helpful and beneficial for our pets. PetTest sent me a sample to try and when Hannah had a GI issue this really helped her, she was back to normal within 24 hours... No more GI upset. How does it help? It coats the gastrointestinal lining and has added amino acids critical for the GI tract.
Gastro Comfort can be used daily without issue and it is made in the USA with human-grade ingredients. Let's quickly go over the ingredients and benefits of each one.
Slippery Elm Bark Powder – turns into a gel when mixed with water, coats and soothes the stomach and intestines, helping to reduce inflammation.
Milk Thistle Seed Powder – contains silymarin, and antioxidant and anti-inflammatory known to aid in the detoxification of the liver. This can improve liver function, an important organ for digestion and synthesis of glucose, amino acids and fatty acids.
Marshmallow Root Powder – turns into a gel when mixed with water that coats and soothes the GI tract. This can help reduce painful inflammation.
Dandelion Root Powder – has detoxifying properties, is a diuretic and simulates bile production. This improves digestion and aids in detoxifying the liver.
L-Glutamine – is an amino acid that is needed for the repair of damaged tissue and helps strengthen the cell barrier that prevents intestinal damage. L-Glutamine plays a critical role in intestinal health.
Pectin – a soluble fiber that turns into a gel when water is added. This can help slow down absorption of fats, protein and carbohydrates, can relieve diarrhea, can help improve stools and coats the intestinal tract.
Packed full of helpful ingredients! Gastro Comfort is easy to use as well, just mix the appropriate amount in some water, I use warm water and let it sit for a couple minutes.
If your pet has pancreatitis or chronic pancreatitis give Gastro Comfort thirty minutes before meals, this helps coat the intestinal tract before they eat. And for pets without pancreatitis it can be given with meals.
