At PetTest, we've always sought to develop the most affordable, effective and pain-free testing measures for your diabetic dog or cat. We are proud to announce our partnership with Genteel, and launch our newest product, designed specifically for pets. That means the vacuum levels, tolerances, and lancing depths are all dialed in for pet use. Our new PetTest Genteel painless glucose monitoring system has been thoughtfully constructed in a way that will allow users to pick most any square-end lancets, like the PetTest Twist Top Lancets or Genteel Butterfly Lancets.

Cleaning your PetTest Genteel Painless Lancing Device for pets:
Before every use, wipe the outside of the device with a clean damp cloth.
If the Piston Assembly rises while holding the Activation Button (showing the Vacuum Indicator), this loss of vacuum can be the result of dirt or other contaminants inside Genteel. Only if you are experiencing these symptoms - perform #1 Quick Cleaning. If symptoms persist - perform #2 Deep Cleaning. If the symptom still exists, call Genteel customer support (844) 436-8335.

#1 Quick Clean (inside)
1. Remove Piston Assembly: De-prime Genteel by pressing Activation Button. Twist Piston Assembly base counter-clockwise until you can pull it out of the Vacuum Tube.
2. O-ring Wipe: Wipe the O-ring on the Piston Assembly with your clean finger to remove surface dirt or other contaminants. |
#2 Deep Clean (inside)
1. Remove Piston Assembly: De-prime Genteel by pressing Activation Button. Twist Piston Assembly base counter-clockwise until you can pull it out of the Vacuum Tube.
2. Flush Vacuum Tube: Run fast moving, warm water through the Vacuum Tube and out the Nozzle while repeatedly pressing the Activation Button. 3. Flush Piston Assembly: While running the Piston Assembly under fast-moving, warm water. Wipe the O-ring on the Piston Assembly with your clean finger to remove surface dirt or other contaminants. 4. Dry: Let Genteel air dry thoroughly. Do not reassemble Genteel with moisture in the Vacuum Tube. 5. Reassemble: Put Piston Assembly back inside the Vacuum Tube and twist base clockwise until it locks into place securely. Verify device functions as intended. |
