PetTest Genteel Painless Lancing Device

For testing, shaving a patch above my dogs tail and getting the Genteel lancing device we’re game changers for us. I was in tears every day trying to prick her ears, trying to get a good blood drop using a different lancet. She HATED getting pricked. My dog and I were so stressed. My baby was diabetic for about 6 months before we started testing at home. He passed out from low blood sugar. It was so scary. After that experience we ordered all the supplies but didn't get this immediately. Testing blood was a PITA. It was so hard to get blood. We shaved areas, we.used heating pads - it was a pain. As soon soon as we got the PetTest Genteel we were able to test without issue - we still shave areas on the hip (they are hairy dogs!). My dogs don't even feel it when we poke them. It really is painless. We tested it on ourselves. Buy it. You won't regret it.

I just got my pettest genteel in the mail today. Got my FIRST easy sample from my turnip today!! Im still doing the happy dance. She showed no signs of it hurting her or really bothering her at all. I AM AMAZED AND SO THANKFUL TO THOSE THAT MADE THIS POSSIBLE..I have been in tears trying every other method with nothing but tears to show. We got a good ear sample , she moved the first time, but was able to get it on second try. I'm still doing the happy dance

I bought this to help me with curves and daily tests on my small diabetic dog. It is way easier than the lancing devices that come with glucometers! The transparent tip makes it easy to know exactly where you pricked them and the suction helps pull out enough blood to test. I rarely have to prick more than once to test my dog anymore! The sound and suction can be startling so make sure to get your pup used to it with positive reinforcement before using it with a lancet!

When is he was first diagnosed I was facing issues with testing blood glucose, no matter what Lansing device I tried I could never get enough blood, In reality I was terrified to test also. This was over 4 years ago and I now own two, I only bought a backup to replace the one that I got four years ago but have not had to use it. I am so glad I bought this for checking my cat's sugar. It's so much easier than using a traditional lancet device.

The Pettest Genteel is a total game changer for my 11 year old diabetic cat. It's so easy to use (once you figure out what color tip to use), doesn't hurt your pet & gives you a good size sample for the Pettest glucometer. Highly Recommend!

I love the Genteel Painless Lancing Device. I was having a hard time getting blood, (mostly because I was scared) but the Genteel makes it easy for me to confidently get a sample, and my dog is happy to let me do it.
