The PetLink+ Blood Glucose Meter is Here!

I am excited that the new PetLink+ Blood Glucose Meter is now available in the USA and will be available in Canada soon! Over the years PetTest has received customer suggestions and they are always looking to improve their product line to make testing as easy as possible, offering supplements that are safe for out diabetic pets and by offering supplies that make our lives easier and don’t break the bank.

The PetLink+ Blood Glucose Meter is a fabulous addition to the PetTest product line and everyone should have one in their diabetes arsenal. 

I want to go over the features of the PetLink+ Meter quickly so let’s jump right in!

The PetLink+ Meter has all the features of the PetTest Classic Blood Glucose Meter with an added feature to make our lives easier; it wirelessly syncs with the Digital Companion app!

When I got my PetLink+ Meter I downloaded the Digital Companion app, turned on Bluetooth on my iPad, opened the Digital Companion app and turned on my meter. BOOM! The Digital Companion app immediately found my PetLink+ Meter! And the Digital Companion app has been upgraded, here’s what’s new per PetTest:

1. We have added the ability to wirelessly transmit/sync BG readings from PetLink+ Meter to the PetTest Digital Companion App.
2. We added the ability to input a custom date range on the Blood Glucose Trend screen, plus added helpful preset data ranges of "All Data", "1 Month", "3 Months", and "Custom Range".
3. BG records are now displayed with the most recent reading on top of the "Log" area.
4. Users with PetLink+ Meter can control various settings on their meter from the Digital Companion App, without removing the battery cover on the meter or even having to touch it at all.
5. We have added the ability to export the graphical depictions of the BG data from the meter (line graph and pie chart). This allows easy sharing of results with vets and trusted advisors.
