    31G, 5/16" U-40 Insulin Syringes

Posted by Susan Tabor on Apr 25th 2023

This is the only place I could find a syringe for U-40 insulin that was finer and shorter than the 29G we received from the vet. It is much better tolerated by my needle adverse schnauzer! Thank you!

    U-40 5/16 .5cc Syringe 31-Gauge

These were the best i could find online. There price was good and they worked as needed for my chihuahuas' twice a day insulin shot. She rarely felt the 31 gauge needle.

    PET test U40 insulin syringes

Posted by Petmom on Jun 11th 2022

I really wanted the 33 CC insulin syringes. They listed on sale on the website but they were completely out of stock and I needed some ranges. These are kind of hard to read with all the little sub markings. My cat takes only one unit of insulin and it was so much easier with the 33cc to see where that one Mark is. If you give your cat too much insulin you could kill it. And yet she still needs it. So this makes it difficult. However the 31 gauge shorter needles are an absolute must, so PET test is still the best in my opinion.
