Holiday Treats!

I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas, this year just flew by and I am not ready to wrap presents yet! Today I want to shift gears and share some popular treats you can make or purchase to give to your beloved dog. All these treats are safe for diabetic dogs!

If you don’t have time to make treats there are some great options as well. The products listed below can be purchased at most pet stores and on Amazon or Chewy.

• Himalayan Yak Chews
• Bully Sticks
• Pure Bites
• Tendons - turkey or beef
• Cod Skins

Make sure you check ingredients before purchasing treats for your diabetic dog. Flours, starches, molasses, glucose, sugars can be found in certain products and will raise blood glucose levels.
