TESTING, TESTING, TESTING! Blood Glucose Testing Videos
After Lucy was diagnosed with diabetes and I got my blood glucose meter I initially had a very hard time getting a blood sample. I cried and she really felt all my anxiety, so I took a break and scheduled an appointment at her vet’s office to be shown how they test blood glucose levels and Sonya the vet tech shaved a spot on Lucy’s upper ear and went through the process with me. Quick, simple and painless! I went home determined to test and perform my first at home blood glucose curve and BAM…huge success! I am a visual learner so watching Sonya really helped me!
